About Lingley Livestock
Lingley Livestock has a rich history in the cattle industry, spanning back generations. Our family is celebrating 50 years in the purebred cattle industry in 2024! The farm is nestled in the hills of Irma, Alberta, Canada. Our land base is notoriously arid and cattle have to perform. Our expectations are high and our cattle do not get any “free passes”.
The Lingley’s started in 1974 with purebred Limousin cattle, being some of the first breeders in Canada. Limousin cattle have been synonymous with the Lingley name. Shorthorn cattle were brought into the program starting in 2000 with Jenna.
Lingley Livestock strives to produce some of the best females in the business. They have to maintain condition, milk well and above all else be extremely sound. Check out some of our featured females!
Want to see the bulls we are using over our cows? We select heavily for muscling ability, docility and calving ease. Our bulls have to be trouble free and low maintenance.
Interested in the cattle we are currently offering for sale? Feel more than welcome to check them out. We offer yearling and two year old bulls by private treaty every year. Looking for females? We can help you out there too.
